The engineering giant Greaves Cotton and Tech start up Chara Technologies have come together to to manufacture sustainable electric motors for mobility solutions, addressing supply chain vulnerabilities and environmental concerns.
This partnership will improve cost saving and reduce CO2 emission by 50% nd 30 % respectively.
Greaves will exclusively manufacture these motors and controllers for various applications, including L5 three-wheelers, golf carts, and four-wheelers. The company will utilize Chara’s technological expertise in motor systems while leveraging its own manufacturing scale and R&D capabilities.
